La Maison des Pecheurs - Viviers-du-Lac

Our flight from Chambery was delayed 24h and we booked in Maison des pecheurs. After we arrived before 9 a.m. when it opened, we let ourselves in very early to wait out of the rain and then use our room early. The room was... lovely, great view and everything we needed; Dinner was really fantastic, gastronomic! And then we had problems getting back to the airport and the staff went beyond and beyond to get us there. Thank you. We would like to return, especially in summer!

Terrible meal... I ordered trout that got cold in the middle, warm on the edge. They suggested it was heated again. I asked for a new dish. I had to wait a while and then got a tiny piece of trout that I was sure the untouched half of my original piece trout, obviously reheated and dressed again. It costs 24€ and I felt like I was robbed. My husband had a large Caesar salad, consisting of a large amount of salad and a little chicken, and cost over 20€. I was still hungry after eating the little trout, so I ordered a dessert (fresh Melba not complicated). It took so long to come that my son abandoned and decided to go home alone. When we paid, we explained our situation to the chief who was surprised, but did not apologize for the restaurant. Absolutely terrible. Will never walk in this restaurant again, although only 4 km away live. 92€ stolen.

Although I was hesitated to go back to this restaurant, based on my last experience about a year ago. I would say that after many complaints, things have improved. We were pleasantly surprised by the change we saw. Welcome, nice table on the terrace. The waitress was something in the morning after the cat and forgot a few things, but the food was very nice. The foie grass was tasty, so the frog legs and the fish were served this day. Great view over the lake.
