Contribuiți la feedbackMy absolute favorite restaurant in Vista. Always a warm greeting, wonderful food and service. I love the wood fired pizza and Caesar salad. And the mushroom pasta. They have a great happy hour. I love family run businesses. This family clearly cares about every aspect of their businesses. I always feel like I am a guest in their home when I visit. 10 stars.
To be honest, I'm not sure what happened when my group of 3 came here for the first time. The service was great but the food was not it. The food was just super bland, it definitely needed more flavor in every dish we ordered. My friend literally returned her lasagna as she said it tasted spiked. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here.
First of all, it was so lovely to go an Italian restaurant where the staff are Italian and the patrons are Italian. It just adds to the authenticity of the experience The food was delicious the portions were generous. The service was excellent! Irina was the best and Katy at the deli/grocery/gelato counter was also amazing Speaking of deli/grocery, I wanted to buy everything... I filled a basket I'm not from the area but will definitely come back when I am. Thanks for a wonderful experience
I had very high hopes for this restaurant, and while I can't say it was bad, it wasn't, but it also wasn't great. Overall the experience was pretty good but I am always hoping for great. I am Italian and grew up in Chicago eating very authentic Italian food. I liked the atmosphere, they service was great, the bread was really good, but... the entrees were VERY BLAND, again, I can't say they were bad, they just didn't have much flavor. And for the price which I felt was on the higher side I feel it should be better. They looked better then they tasted, nice presentation. I have noticed that good Italian food is hard to find in California so mediocre tends to be celebrated by people out here. It's likely because they haven't experienced really great Italian food. This restaurant is on par with other California Italian restaurants, it's passable, but, if it were in Chicago or Nee York it wouldn't last long.
Great family spot. The food is B+ but the gelato and desert bar are A+. When you got 4 kids to feed that is a high score and I actually wish we ate here more.
