Huntley’s Place - Virginia Beach

I had the pleasure of trying the Veggie Bennie, and it was absolutely delicious! It looked just as I had hoped, and the taste exceeded my expectations. I was in a bit of a rush, so I only managed to eat half of it before snapping a picture. The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, and I can’t wait to return with friends!

This restaurant seemed clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive, and my food arrived quickly. I ordered the fish and chips, which were decent but not exceptional. While it was cooked properly, the flavor was a bit lacking.

Before arriving, I checked the reviews to set our expectations, and I have to say that those claiming the food is bland are mistaken. While some may perceive it as bland, the fish and chips were perfectly seasoned, allowing the flavor of the fish to truly shine. I'd advise against ordering this dish if you're not a fan of fish, but as a seafood lover, I was very impressed. The breading wasn't as thick as I would have preferred, but the flavor of the batter was delightful. Overall, I would rate it 5 out of 5. The aesthetic of Huntley’s reminds me a lot of Hair of the Dog, but I think it surpasses it. The staff were extremely welcoming. Diane served us this afternoon, and she was wonderfully sweet. The entire staff interacted with our daughter, making us feel right at home. I ordered the fancy parfait, which was honestly the best I've had locally, and I consider myself a foodie. The presentation, combined with the fresh fruit, honey, and oats, was absolutely perfect. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious quick bite with a warm Southern welcome. Thank you all so much!

We?re new to Virginia (from South Carolina and we?ve been here a week and wanted to try new places near us. My husband looked this place up and we loved it. We came with our 2 yr old (which can go one of two ways- great or terrible and the servers made his day completely. They were so welcoming and when he started getting impatient the server with the pink eyeliner brought him a shot of whipped cream and he was calm immediately. Like wow. I love her! Just didn?t catch her name. Sage was our server and she was delightful too. My husband got the peanut butter banana pancakes (they were amazing! and I got the steak and eggs platter. Very tasty and big portions and the farmhouse like atmosphere really made it feel homey yet polished. Will definitely be returning!

Got breakfast to go this morning, very friendly staff and the food was delicious. They have a huge list of items on the menu and bar drinks. Hope to go back and try some more soon.
