We stayed in this hotel which is in a lovely old stone building in a little village as part of a walking holday. We got a warm welcome from Pascal when we arrived hot and dusty in Villeneuve. The small pool was very welcome after our walk. Dineer was taken on the lovely terrace overlooking the river Tarn to the sound of the bells in the church beside the hotel. There was a small menu, including a fish and vegetarian choice. The food was good, made with ingredients from the garden by Pascal's wife and beautifully presented. The accomodation was clean, simple and modern. However I would has prefered a room on the side of the hotel overlooking the river as occasionally we were disturbed by traffic passing through the village. This was only a minor problem on the whole the village was quiet.
We stayed here for two nights as part of a walking holiday. It is an excellent hotel well situated on the river Tarn for lots of walking routes. The room was functional and clean. But what makes this hotel excellent is two things. Firstly to hospitality of the owner Pascal. He was very friendly and really went out of his way to ensure that all of his guests were comfortable. The second thing is the food. The breakfast was lovely with fresh pastries, yoghurts, fruit, coffee, homemade jams.... I could go on! Each day we had a lovely freshly made picnic... but the evening meal was out of this world. Freshly cooked, beautifully presented and very very tasty! A lovely family run hotel that I would definitely stay at again.. and would highly recommend to others.
Pascal is great, thank you for your business that does a lot for the village and for your involvement in everything you do
Thank you very much to the boss for his kindness and welcome
