Contribuiți la feedbackSeven of us went in for lunch during the second week of January The weather was very inclement outside and the restaurant were very welcoming. It was not clear that the restaurant was even open because normally the outside terrace is decked out with...seats, furs and a pop up bar too. On this occasion there was nothing out possibly due to the low season and poor weather. We were greeted like long lost friends and due to the oven being cleaned, were moved to a mezzanine area away from the smells of the kitchen. Auban was our waiter and he looked after us in a delightful way. Food was expensive as it always is at altitude in Switzerland) but his charm and care made it all worthwhile! We had the mezzanine all to ourselves and so it felt very relaxing indeed. Note a simple salad is economic comprehensive and easily serves two. And bread was provided with the lunch too. A real pleasure and a very comfortable visit indeed.
Very nice and effective service, merci Aubin, who really pampered us. We had cheese dishes with roestis, hamburger with very good bun and perfectly cooked meat, and delicious café gourmand (coffee together with a wide selection of little desserts). Lovely view on the Alps, right...when you exit the telecabine, one of the most beautiful terrace.

After spending the third consecutive winter season in villars, here is why I note 5/5 this restaurant. It is super pleasant to eat there for several reasons: the choice and quality of the dishes offered, the map that is varied (spanish flat, melted, röstis, but also excellent burgers and especially the lenses to the feta and the liquor sausage,) the superb and large terrace with panoramic view, the interior that also offers lots of places and a nice mountain decor, Always smiling and humorous, this team serves its clients in a very professional and attentive way, even a sunny Saturday in February. service is impeccable, hat low to Michael and his team!
We arrived at a noon and chose burgers to compose themselves, nice formula, but unfortunately full cooking. Asked for bleeding coming raw and that's where drunkanna intervenes, very pro she confirms and returns to the kitchen, return 5 min later too cooked, re intervention d'ivanna, with the smile and again very pro, they re-shape the burger. re believed. I ate it in part. the terrace team and well on ivanna got hurt and the 3 burgers were offered. very classy, thanks to them but not to the kitchen that should review its cooking bases. Well, just take a salad and ask for ivanna.
