This is not the idea I had of local food. By chance, or due to the fact the all shops close really early and there are not many choices in the area we were staying at, we had to visit the place. Decoration is kind...of interesting, but nothing more. Waiter, only one, does not speak English. Menu is is Serbian and Austrian German, meaning you won’t be able to get anything you are told, or you ask in English, Russia, Spanish or French so I tried with all of tripe choices.) Somehow we managed with mimic, google, and ordered beef and mutton both with potatoes. It came out BOILED, without salt. Terrible! Also to consider: -Meat was being stored while we waited for our food to arrive. We supposed it’s because they freeze it over and over, to have less expenses and until everything is gone. It was put in containers, and taken inside the kitchen, judging for the time and empty place. -The waiter, ignoring the guests, simply lighted his cigarette and was smoking behind the bar...as if. Again, we were thankful to have something warm down our throats but, fortunately we had more days and choices, this is one to skip. Better go to Westbahnhof and you will find some cafeteria there, cheaper, faster, and with some good taste. Our walk around three more blocks and you’ll get to Alser Straße metro station right in front (opposite to it) there are two more restaurants (we discovered them days after this catastrophe.
