Saffron - Victoria

I live relatively close to Saffron and I have eaten there several times. The various stews with rice are AMAZING!!!! Even my meat eater boyfriend loved the vegetarian stew. The owner is so lovely and you can tell the food is made with love. Every bite just puts a smile on my face!

This is the best Persian food hands down. It's homemade, gluten and dairy free, hearty, delicious, and good value. The restaurant is quaint and the owner is lovely - and the best cook around!

This new location is great! Amazing Persian food and many more options than before. I'm hooked. Note: the new location is in a small grocery store setting. The prices are extremely reasonable for how good the food is. Open till 7:30!!

Every bite will let you know that the food was made with loving dedication. This is food that fills the heart and calls for a hearty appetite. I left reminded of my mother's cooking and grandmother's baking. Excited that the phenomenal bakery will now be all gluten-free! Also, looking forward to the new location at Quadra.

Stopped for lunch ,had read great reviews . Had the stewed lamb dish for lunch . Nice flavors but I think it was way too expensive for what it was , a large amount of rice with the stewed meats vegs. on top . Kind of disappointing for the price of $14.00 . A small square of " baklava " cake was also disappointing just tasted like any pound cake wth a syrup on top. They need to try harder and offer more value for the prices they charge .
