Boleskine Bistro - Victoria

I have to say that the two other people in our group enjoyed their lunch special. I unfortunately ordered the fish tacos and asked that the sauce be on the side.I took one bite and the sauce inside (not on the side) was so hot I couldn't eat it.I am used to spicey foods but that was ridiculous. I left the food and when the waitress came she said that all she heard was for the salsa to be on the side.I was charged full price - but was given a promotional coupon for discounted meals.I will go back as the other food was good but couldn't believe the attitude

Driven by many times, decided to go in for lunch. Food was hot, fresh and tasty and good portions. Good service and reasonable price. Restaurant bright and cheery.

Its now under new ownership and is now called the Uptown Bistro. The food is just amazing. I had their daily lunch special which was a turkey salad wrap with their beef chili soup. Wow - the soup was a meal just by itself and was full of flavor. The turkey salad wrap was packed solid with shredded turkey, dried cranberries, dried mango and chopped celery. I couldn't eat it all and ended up bringing home half of it for dinner. I'm definitely coming back.

I have a hamburger and Caeser salad every time I come. I think it's about the best burger in town and the Caesar's really good too. I don't understand why this place isn't more popular. Always friendly and good device too!
