Touche - Vermilion

We had the best time at Chez Francois! We have our reservation for the riverside café and the table we got was not perfect. It was quite private and we had the perfect view of the river. It was a lot of fun to watch and wave by all boats. Our servers were Roger and Hunter and they were great. Roger was professional and personal and we loved the conversations we had with him. Your drinks and cocktail menu was extensive and I am glad that I went perfectly with the French Martini! We started with the lobster bisque, which had huge lobster pieces, and we also got the divers Meerscallops with morel mushrooms in its natural shell. That was the most incredible thing I ever had. It had 4 big scallops and it was so full. The garlic butter sauce was phenomenal and you can say that they only use the highest quality of the ingredients. It was also packed in Puff bakery... YUM! Very recommended. For dinner we have the beef Wellington and the veal. Both were cooked for perfection and the calf was a perfect blend of flavors. Even though we were filled afterwards, they somehow convinced us to try the cherry dessert. It was perfect, not too rich and not too full. I suggest everyone tries at least their homemade vanilla bean ice cream. We had a great experience and we can't wait to be back!

The food was very good and server was very knowledgeable. I was a little disappointed by the more casual clothing after reading the requirements on the website. A male had jeans and tennis shoes and most men were dressed at best “Friday Casual”. If they do not respect their dress code, they should simply remove it. Lobster risotto was excellent and as good as any Cleveland restaurant.

Although they would not let us in the dinning room after. 1:30 min drive due to wearing jeans . They made up for it with a great water front table , amazing wine selection, amazing amazing amazing food with a menu selection I would compare to any Michelin star restaurant and 5 star service was just wonderful Just gotta say wow ! Thanks chez for the great experience.
