The Green Goose Eatery - Venterstad

New restaurant in Stellenbosch. Great ambiance- nice and airy. Waiters were attentive and knowledgeable. Food divine. We shared 3 smaller meals. The Caesar salad, the tuna and the gnocchi. The food is meant to be shared and enjoyed , so more like a starter shared, although the salad was big. For the price, the food is really good value, as it’s been carefully thought out, well plated and tasty. I left very satisfied but not over stuffed, but if you are really hungry, they have main courses that are hearty and filling. I hope that they get the support they deserve. Oh, and a very interesting wine list too.

Interesting use of Asian ingredients mixed with western style. Nice Interior fit out with warm ambient. Service was great too. Had a good dining experience.

Beautiful and chic little eatery. Liked the menu, being uncomplicated. I have trouble choosing dishes on these volumes of menu pages. Simple simply works for me. I am a starter and dessert girl, so opted for the Black Arancini and bread platter. Perfect and very tasty. The Raspberry Choux Buns dessert is a must have. Also love the affordable wine list. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Excellent drinks selection. The chef Patron, Gustaaf Boshoff, makes the place feel like home for his guests. Always return.
