Old Capital View Restaurant & Lounge

My husband's birthday dinner. He had the pork chops and said they were really good. I had the Walleye because it's always good here. This place is great. The waiting staff was very attentive to our needs. Everything about great experience. Good service, good food. The price is moderate, but it doesn't matter to pay anything extra for a really good meal.

Pleasantly surprised by this local jewel. Friendly efficient service, clean dining area, decent selection of food, the food was excellent. The salad bar had all the basics was fresh. Nothing imagination in the decor, quite boring visual, but the food makes it. It is not fantasies skin cuisine or trendy, it is solid comfort food made m very good.

Big ribs pulled pork sandwich. Fries are great! A great view of Old State Capitol Building. Great for lunch and they have a beautiful looking bar!

Wonderful service. The wings were great and so was the fried chicken meal, all that was served hot and food tasted great. Our waitress Allison was so friendly, smiling and was prompt with her service. We're definitely coming back. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food and great service, I suggest that this place hands down.

Amazing food!! No wait. We walked right in and got to choose our seating. Got our food fairly quick and everything is priced just right. Staff is friendly. The place is VERY clean. I hope to come here again very soon!
