Had brunch todayThe restaurant was almost emptyWe were seated straight away and had a pleasant waitress.

White spot for breakfast kinda sucks because this location is their "TEST KITCHEN" which means they don't serve a full menu breaky here.

White Spot isn't generally the first place that comes to mind when wanting brunch but maybe it should! Try the Shrimp Benny. Nice surprise, served with smash-browns. Absolutely nothing wrong with that!

An enjoyable meal with my wife and grandson. My grandson and I ordered a hamburger with fries and a coke. My wife ordered a vegetarian meal with a glass of Cabernet.

We had a friend in hospital. She requested a sandwich and my silly friend chose the The White Spot Club. So we went to this restaurant. I estimate a third of the restaurant was full and the rest of the seats were empty. We ordered one White Spot Club to go. Easy order. No special requests. No big group. Nothing complicated. It costs $14.99 to buy three layers of bread and some low quality processed meats here, so we figured the service will make up for it.NO, it does not.We waited a full 45 minutes to get the food. Every so often after a 20 minute wait, the two girls at the front would offer a lax apology and assure us the food was on its way. Except it wasn't. I reminded them that now more than 30 minutes had passed. More apology and some movement and they came back and said the food was ready just had to be packed. OK, I estimate it should take one minute flat to pack a sandwich and bring it a distance of 35 feet.It took 15 minutes more. And then a man came along with the two girls and apologized and said our food should be ready in few more minutes. My steam valve exploded. I told him loudly we had been told that for 45 minutes and instead of more assurances he should go get the (&%#@ single sandwich we had ordered. The two girls ran to the kitchen and the man walked up to the computer terminal and verified that indeed that much time had passed. We got the food finally.White Spot your service sucks, so:1- Create some standards of service and stick to it2- Hold your team accountable for delays.
