It is very popular with locals though I hear people drive from relatively far distances for the coffee! The brunch they have on weekends is average and in my opinion not offered for long enough (until 1pm?) on Sat and Sunday I believe. Also their readymade sandwiches are nothing special and the cookies, as is the rage in Van, are way too big and I doubt they sell many (trick: go to the U.K/Irish shop two stores down called "Celtic Treasures" and buy an Empire biscuit there - delicious!)
I enjoyed a chocolate muffin and a strawberry banana milkshake at this restaurant. Both were delicious and it seemed like they were freshly baked in-house.
Discovered Blaq Sheep while on a search for food near YVR. My initial thought was "what a charming little cafe shop!" The breakfast menu is concise and delightful, focusing on keeping things simple.
The coffee was tasty, but the service has declined. The waitress seemed disinterested and lethargic, giving off zombie-like vibes and clearly not enjoying her job.
