Uptown Barrel Room - Vancouver

Went to wine tasting night at 7pm. Good crowd. Tasted 5 wines and they even brought 3 appetizers. We ordered the Angus bites w/ mushrooms to taste of the menu. Yum! We kept getting checked on, but when it was time to checkout, it took longer because they were grabbing the wines everyone was ordering. My boyfriend and I are not red wine drinkers but we ended up falling in love with a Red Merlot from Browne. Great price, great food, great ambiance!

I enjoy the atmosphere, food, and drinks here every time I eat at Uptown Barrel Room. The pizza is tasty (expect garlic breath which isn't a bad thing), and most recently, I partook in their tacos. The grilled halibut and the crab/lobster tacos are super good. Typically, their service is good, but occasionally, they can be slow to get to a table especially when you are outside. However, patience and a kind word give you a good response. They also specialize in wine if you are so inclined.

Highly recommend! I’ve had their brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinners. Do call ahead for a reservation, they can get busy. They’re busy because their food is amazing! Servers are great as well.

Excellent little eatery and tavern. Great attentive service. Came for breakfast. Had omelet. Could easily tell ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Reasonably priced for higher quality food.

Great place. Some very nice people work there. It's clean with very good service. The drinks are great and it's a great environment. So if u are close and thirsty stop by and have a drink u won't be sorry.
