Contribuiți la feedbackIt's a nice little place with a lot of breakfast and lunch options at reasonable prices! I ordered their chicken strips and fries meal, which came with four fairly large and tasty pieces, for only $8.99, which is a pretty nice deal. The food tasted fresh, and the meat was nicely salted. The fries could have been more flavorful, but they did the trick. Service was good, although kind of slow. English doesn't seem to be many of the employees' first language, which is part of the reason why, but they are nice and helpful. I'd try some of their other food and they seem like a business that I would want to support.
Can't say I share the 5-star reviews of other customers. The service was friendly and prompt, the space clean but unappetizing, and the food OK. There was nothing special about any of it. The waitress or the cook got my wife's and my eggs backward. Hers were over medium and mine over easy. We'd have simply swapped them if they weren't well integrated into their respective skillet dishes. Not major enough to trouble the staff. I'll go back...but not often.
Took my mom here because her favorite place, Ducktails, closed down recently and we had heard good things about Nayhely’s. The restaurant seemed clean, the staff was very friendly and the menu was what I would expect from a small diner. We both opted for ham and cheese omelettes. Whenever I’m trying a new breakfast place that’s typically what I will order because if you can do an omelette decently then you should be able to do everything else really well. I ordered coffee and they brought a carafe of coffee which I haven’t seen a place do that in forever so that was really cool. My mom ordered tea and they brought her a carafe of hot water also so that was really neat to see and something completely unique. My mom ordered hashbrowns and a biscuit (which looked to be homemade). I had toast and home fries with mine. The hashbrowns were cooked well and Mom said the biscuit was great. My toast was fine as it’s hard to screw up toast and home fries were pretty good also although they felt more like a cross between french fries and almost like a tater tot than home fries but they were crunchy on the outside good texture on the inside and tasty so that was a win. The only challenge were the omelettes. Both were overcooked, dry and very little ham or cheese in them. They looked more like scrambled eggs with a little ham and cheese cooked in it that was allowed to sit and set up and then just folded over (not an omelette with a filling). We wanted to like the place and maybe omelettes aren’t their thing as we saw multiple orders of chicken fried steak and eggs and pancakes coming out from the kitchen that looked good. Unfortunately, this place is a pass for me though. I do hope they do well with their regular clients as it’s great to see a family run place.
Well, it isn 't horrible, but we won 't be back. The staff was friendly and the prices are decent, but not great. We ordered the Hearty Breakfast and the New York Steak and eggs meals. The toast was not sourdough as ordered and was the consistency of a crouton. The eggs were not seasoned and although my over medium eggs were cooked correctly, my son 's over easy were not. My steak was well done, when I ordered medium rare. It had no pink or red to it plus a huge line of fat along the side so I cut a huge chunk off since the fat was hard and not edible, as was about half the steak itself. It also had no seasoning on it whatsoever. My son 's hashbrowns were not extra crispy as ordered, but barely cooked. My homestyle potatoes were cooked but not seasoned at all, not even salt. My son 's buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and very good. The orange juice was good as it was Florida 's all natural Country Style . The restaurant was very clean. Not sure about the restrooms as everything is closed to dine-in per state mandates currently in effect. When I called about the mistakes, the only response was, oh! and eventually a thank you for telling her, but offered no solutions. Sadly, I am very disappointed as I was looking forward to finding a new place.
We were in route to a pizza place but when we pulled up (11:30 it wasn’t open (noon on a Saturday?!? so I got onto Yelp to see if I could find us an alternative. This place popped up and had excellent reviews. Since we were close by we thought we would give it a shot. When we walked in, it was busy but we were seated right away. Over looking the menu there were a lot of options. I decided on the “Irish Nachos” because my interest was peaked based on the description....I was extremely disappointed with what was put in front of me...The description didn’t match my plate and I had to request green onions because they were missing...it would have been better melted in the cheese but I made do. My husband got the Santa Barbara Skillet based on the recommend of the waitress because he was stuck between 2 options...He ordered a side of pancakes instead of toast. He was also disappointed with both the omelet pancakes. We’ve seen this area before but were not aware of the places that occupy the space but now that we know, we will continue driving past...
