Has been here for a long time. reminds me of some of the places I have eaten in trips to sf, where you have only spoken cantonese and the menu and the cards will have Chinese characters as well as English. it is one of the few places where you can actually get ma la where the seuan pfeffercorn will actually give them some incarnation. here too is the hot sour very good. I also have a shot of some taken bark meat in garlic sauce because it is crazy addictive. they have scalion pancakes and the pot stickers are huge, in contrast to their gyoza pendant as you could expect. if they really go early after opening, they can see that they still snap and pluck and such and fill tubes with fresh vegetables, the fresh vegetables make a big difference. they will not get any suppenknödel here, but it is a high quality representation of Chinese American food and they are the nicest people.
Must agree that these hands are the best Chinese food around! they can say everything is fresh and not frozen. the pot stickers are the best I ever had. this is the only place to repair their Chinese foods and the people who work there are so nice. highly recommended
I eat at this place as it was golden dragon in the early 90s, obviously it was the different incarnations of the owners, I even have tables in the high school, as dominic it possessed. eating was always delicious. as vegetarian, good roast rice to find is a bonus. this was always my favorite place for it, they use FRESH-Veggies in rice with mushrooms and whole paws. I don't even have to add soy sauce because they season perfectly. also not excessively salty. we also love the kung pao tofu. my man is not vegetarian, but he also ordered the tofu. the veggie fried rolls are excellent, always crispy, never soggy. when we were able to eat in the tea, was hot and tasty, and they serve a cut nabel orange and lucky cookies. I can't speak for other menu items, but I can't imagine they wouldn't be excellent quality. the service was great, fast and friendly. the only bad thing is that I tend to forget that they are closed on Mondays and I always long it! top spot in hazel dell. the image does not make fairness, but it is kung pao tofu medium-spicy, and veg fried rice, but we had already eaten through them before I remembered making a photo.
My mom lives in Vancouver. When she found this wonderful restaurant, she commented on how good the food was, so, when my daughter and i were there for a visit, we just had to go! We got the shrimp and scallops plate and it was loaded! Cooked to perfection! Served with steamed rice, a pot of hot tea and, of course, a fortune cookie! YUMM!!! The place was very clean, well organized and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating! I can definitely see a return trip in our very near future!
