Hayk's Cake House - Van Nuys

This place sucks! I needed a cake for my father-in-laws birthday so I came to Hayks cake house, I definitely regret my decision... my father in law is an electrician and I wanted to get a themed cake, nothing major or hard, we found a design on line and I asked the cake designer if she can make me something similar but prettier/cuter and she said yes so I told her how I want it and she took notes and a screenshot of the cake design I like and I thought great, 100% Failure! I asked for white fondant over the cake and a fun tool belt, i got this hideous creation, that 's NOT a tool belt that 's scraps of fondant you used to hold the tools in place, if you can 't do something don 't waste other people 's money trying.

Expired, disgusting cakes and all the positive reviews are FAKE.

This restaurant offers a wide range of options, from delightful small pastries to custom cakes for any occasion. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very clean.

Fantastic restaurant! The cakes are amazing, and the chocolate hazelnut one is definitely one of my favorites. The staff has a wonderful attitude towards customers, and they offer an array of delightful pastries, cakes, and delicious food all in one spot.

I ordered a naked cake with a few golden butterflies on the cake with a Cinderella cup, which I made available for my daughter's birthday, and they literally gave me a blue heavy cream-based Cinderella cake. I did NOT have a cream or a blue on the cake the whole cake was blue and gold and completely different from what I asked. You ask what you want, but do not do what you want.so if you want to be surprised the day of your event, go for them and order them. I had to show my guests what I wanted and what they gave me so they knew it wasn't my taste.
