La Playa - Valparaiso

Bar La Playa is a historic bar with plenty of charm. Unfortunately I have none of the foods (I hear the seafood is delicious), but I have several of the best Pisco sours that I had all my time in Chile! 10/10 would come back!

If you want to go to a historical diving bar, this is the place. Order the large plate of beer and relax while you only try a straight line at the place.

On a cold and rainy day we were looking for shelter in La Playa for lunch. The very attentive waiter treated us to his own version of "menu del dia ' with a delicious seafood soup, roast chicken and salad and for my friends, a delicious fried fish and a small desert. We had a reasonable Carmen wine and everything he did for a perfect hold. Although we speak very little Spanish, the older waiter who has been working there for many years was gracious and tried to make our visit special.

Just awful went with my kids there as I plan on having a good time and nice food.. i didn't even look at the prices cause my goal was to have fun unfortunately we had to wait for more than 40 minutes to discover our food order was lost.. pisco sour are great but the most expensive in chile we found a hair in our empanada and the food was cold and under cooked...great place with bad administration thats clear so do yourself a favor go there take a selfie and get the hell our of there running and screaming.
