Contribuiți la feedbackAfter a less than average welcome we did have a great and well deserved after ski lunch. The menu is diversified and perfectly executed. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and it takes 2 minutes to ski back to the Fornet village. We were a group of 7 and could share and taste many dishes : foie gras, ravioles with beaufort, raviolis with cepes and foie gras, tomahawk veal, warm lobster salad, scallops risotto and a burger. Deserts were as well excellent: lemon and yuzu tart, melted chocolate cake and duo of chocolate. As a final touch they offered us Genepi. Our best meal in Val d'Isere!
After some good skiing down to Fornet Lift we found this newish restaurant. Very comfortable, lovey staff welcome and great food. Only problem is the portions are huge so consider sharing! The wine list is very extensive and good selections. Highly recomend a lunch stop and since it's not too far to the bottom an extra glass is OK! I had the Quasi de veau which was awesome, my wife enjoyed the duck. We enjoyed the food so much we returnd for another lunch.
We eat very well, at a very reasonable pace and with smiling, charming staff and small care! In addition to the terrace is in the sun all day... The best altitude restaurants in Val d’Isère/Tignes and at a distance. Unlike the success you have to book in the morning even if not little chance to have lunch.
Very good address. Nice view. Refined cuisine. Very nice servers. Think about booking because as the director says so well, “it’s an institution here!” However, don’t try to come and eat in German at 11:30 because you’ll be patient until noon.
Warm and effective welcome! Very beautiful veranda in the varied interior menus around 30€
