Vadstena Camping

There are many options and great amenities at this restaurant (worthy of 5 stars), but it can get really busy (bringing it down to 4 stars). We stayed overnight in hammocks (an affordable and enjoyable experience), however, there was a lack of clear communication regarding our hammocks in the middle of the night, so we ended up feeling a bit confused (rating it 3 stars).

This place is something too big for his own good. the densely packed drongs of people and homes make it hard to really enjoy the beaches or activities here. the elongated shape of the area means that it constantly traffic along the main entrance road. rezeption has a never ending waiting queue, and the service is nothing to write home (although not terrible also the campsites are somewhat unclear (it is hard to say whether their reserved place is behind the small number plate or in front of it).

The restaurant is located near a beautiful, clear body of water that is perfect for swimming. However, there is no pool on site and the water slide is in a state of disrepair. Additionally, the restrooms are unisex.

Beautiful location with great swimming, but the staff isn’t the nicest, the service houses need some attention and it’s next to a busy road, so sleeping in a tent means hearing cars through the night. Camping spots average size. Good deal with 180 sek per night if you arrive after 18 and leave before 10, but wouldn’t stay again.
