Contribuiți la feedbackWe went here twice on our trip to Vader. I had pancakes and sausage both times. The sausage links were excellent. Pancakes were big! I added strawberries the second day we went. Everyone else at the table loved their food. The first day, the service was decent but not very friendly. Our server on the second day was friendly and made feel us feel welcome. We'd go here again if in the area.
Mind you I live in Texas, but my gf lives in Washington, so when I come to visit her (or I'm there for work) this is my Go-To breakfast spot. Now, mind you I have looked around and have eaten at as many places as I could find in about a 20 mile radius and this is the place I always come back to. If you're coming from I-5 and think it might be a little off the beaten path, take the drive. It'll be well worth it.
They always have amazing food. The service was so good. The place was full but our food was delivered to our table quickly and it was still hot.
Just another place waiting to die the same death as every other greasy spoon. Same fare as Papa Bear up the freeway, or any other similar. The only decent bite to eat in a 50 mile radius can be found at a burger stand or Mexican restaurant. (Dairy Bar, Dairy Dan's, Betty's, Bill and Bea's, Harold's, Eagan's Big Tom etc) (Plaza Jalisco, Guadalajara, Tacos El Rey). But, if you insist on the diner experience, you can expect Sysco Industrial Foods fare, or sometimes Costco. The sort of stuff you can make at home, probably better. Think biscuits poured from Krusteaz mix in to a cake pan. It may taste ok if you're starving hungry or if you're a heavy smoker. Source: 25+ year resident of the area.
Food was always good when Della made it. Now that's she's gone, food quality will suffer. They let the best cook in the county go. Their loss, someone else's gain. Great place to work, as long if you're dating the owner. Won't see me and at least a dozen other people in there ever again. Enjoy you're canned soup. It's not handmade anymore.
