The nordic touch is interesting but otherwise it just an average sushi-place. Clean. Good location if you are shopping in the neighbourhood. Usually fast service. We have eaten here quite often since our daughter likes Sushi and it is close to IKEA.
While the food may not be outstanding, the prime location of this restaurant definitely adds to its appeal. It's easy to stop by for a quick sushi or bento box meal after a day of shopping. The staff is accommodating and cordial, but my last visit left me disappointed. I was surprised to find out that I had to pay an additional 15 Swedish crowns for miso soup, which is usually included in the menu at other restaurants in Uppsala. This felt like a cheap tactic to me. And let's be honest, you should never mess with the miso soup.
I liked this place when it first opened, my husband likes sushi and l liked the ramen kyckling. We have visited now and then over the years but the last 3 visits were disappointing because they dont have ramen kyckling despite it still being on the menu. Today we left without ordering anything and l will not be back.
The food was average, or just below. The rice in the sashimi and the rolls was too compact, but all flavors were fresh and OK. Price per value is on the upper end.
