Contribuiți la feedbackWe frequent Jamaica Blue in Indooroopilly often, so we had high expectations for their coffee. When we arrived at 12:30pm, the cafe was nearly empty. I ordered a medium cappuccino with 1.5 shots. The coffee was hot, unexpectedly strong, and full of flavor. The talented barista definitely delivered a good cup of coffee. Thank you!
The prices were average for a cafe - $16.90 for the dish and $3.50 for the latte. The Blue Latte was visually stunning and tasted great. It was a Jaffa flavored hot drink with white chocolate and blue curacao, making it unique and not overly sweet. The latte was smooth and easy to drink, with no overpowering chocolate taste. I highly recommend trying it. The "Avocado Smash Maple Bacon" was surprisingly tasty. Despite my usual aversion to sweet breakfast items, the maple syrup worked well with the onion, tomatoes, coriander, lemon salsa, and avocado. The poached egg on top of sourdough toast added a nice touch. The staff were friendly and the food was served quickly. The cafe, located in a corner of the shopping center, was quiet with a bit of privacy and a view of people passing by.
This was my first time to a Jamaica Blue and I was impressed. A friend and I went here for morning tea, we had a scone each and an EB tea. The scones were very lovely and came warmed up without having to ask. The tea was tea. The service was unusually pleasant without being forced. I am an unexpected fan!
I had a great experience at Jamaica Blue for a light lunch after exploring garden city. My mom tried the blueberry scone with lemon curd and cream, while I opted for the smoked salmon, avocado, and cream cheese bagel. The food was prepared promptly and the service was excellent. Although there is a variety of options available, they are pre-made and stored in a cool box in the cafe.
Went to this cafe ordered a cold Regga tea and a steak sandwich, the drink was diluted to almost water, the staff told me because it was sitting outside in ice, so I gather in a bulk ink, they bought me a fresh one. The steak...sandwich was unfortunate, it was a cheap cut, I assume a oyster steak, it had a big lump grate through it and it was so hard I could hardly cut it with a knife. I had to remove the steak, as it was from bread, on Turkish bread and salad, and then try to tear the steak with my teeth., not a good look I was so hungry, I never disturbed to send it back as I also live on an island and had limited time to catch public transport." I complained to the same waitress and said that perhaps a new meat supplier or cook required I was in contact with the main office of Jamica Blue, the offered e a $10 voucher and said they would contact the cafe, I leaned the voucher as I said I won't eat there again, but I had eaten there in the past and it was pretty good that was perhaps a thing, but it was terrible food.
