Ichiban Japanese Grill Sushi

This is my new favorite restaurant! My wife and I love Japanese and sushi, but don't ever feel like we can afford it. That is until now! Everything here is so good, especially the sushi! My daughter says the tempura shrimp are now her favorite food. The best thing is that it is so affordable! Everything tastes is fresh and they are so generous with the portions for the price. Might be the best value in town!

Awesome sushi and service!. We just moved to town and went to Ichiban last night after hearing about it on Urbanspoon. The sushi was fantastic! Some of the best I've ever had! Loved the Tuscaloosa Roll. It was also reasonably priced, which we appreciated. The service was top-notch, quick and very friendly. Overall we had a great dinner. Will definitely be visiting this one again!

Best sushi in town!. If you want sushi, try Ichiban! They have lots of variety. Their plates are great too. The price is so very reasonable and their service is always friendly. The exterior isn't pretty, but don't let that stop you. It's worth it!

Tuscaloosa's Best Sushi for Price. Ichiban is next to Sitar on 15th St. If you want very good teriyaki plates sushi, this is the place to go. The thing that makes Ichiban so great is the price and quality of the food. You can go there and get a lot of GOOD sushi for a college minded price. There wasabi is not watered down like over at Bento either. It is the good stuff.<br <br Highly recommend to go and get during the week. I always get two order of rolls and some nigiri for under $15!
