Grand Star Buffet - Tulare

This restaurant is phenomenal. I recently left my handy and my wallet there inadvertently after eating. I called to use my friend's phone, and they told me I could come back and get it. they touched nothing and everything was as it was. amazing service and very trustworthy!

Chicken on stick 6pc 6.99..the chicken was so small like a chicken nugget.called lady and didn't care.wont be back.too expensive $30 for noodles, shrimp and NUGGETS Updated..10m later after I wrote review and called her she called me back yelling at me on the phone,are u serious, definitely will not be back and will tell the tulare city council that I work at!!!

Food was so gross. Either slimy from sitting in the sauces for who knows how long or super dry chicken. A lot of different Sushi but no spicy mayo or unagi sauce. The thick spicy sauce was super salty. The cookies with an almond in the middle were all stale. It was super hot and felt gross being in there. They also charge extra for drinks and they refill your drinks. I had to walk to the server and hand her my drink for a refill. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 6 minutes to the king buffet in Visalia, they don’t charge extra for drinks and the food tastes more fresh.

I 'm not from around the area, and maybe it 's because it 's a small place and that 's the only Chinese place people around here have ever been to but the food was just absolutely terrible, and I say that with no disrespect, I even tipped in good faith. I don 't care about the service I 'm not there to be worshipped but service was good. The only thing that tasted authentic was my orange Fanta soda. I 've been to tons of Asian buffet and this was by far the worst food in taste and quality. Everything almost tasted like oil, the fried rice had no flavor unless you consider cooking oil a flavor, the meat I don 't even know what that was. Their place was open at 11 and I got there around 11:30 and alot of the food wasn 't even ready for serving. I 'm not mad at them I 'm just surprised how with a straight face they 're able to serve those dishes knowing how terrible the quality and taste is. Also if you see other good reviews with the word phenomenal in it, it 's a fake review

I’d give five star for the waiter but the one star is definite for the lady at the front cashier. She is extremely rude. Almost every time she speaks to a customer she was talking while yelling. And she kept lying about the food being fresh and replaced.
