They let me check in hours before normal check in times, and while I meant to just sleep a couple hours and move on, I ended up sleeping the night. It's across a parking lot from a Cracker Barrel and was perfectly located for such a break. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the price was fair. I'm glad I chose their hotel to pull in to.
Stayed at this hotel during the First Annual Freedom Fest at New Freedom Farm, it was spacious, beds were comfortable, but when you ran the water in the tub it smelled like a sewer. Then there were the spiders and the spider webs behind the entry door and on the other side of the window. The corners were full of them. Just hope somebody does a bettter job of cleaning this room. Didn't try the breakfast wasn't interested in what they were offering. Debbie K.
Great place to stay! Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the spacious room. Nice, clean and comfortable. We stayed I the 2 queens with a couch and had SO much room! Free breakfast was good too! It has hot and cold items along with drinks. Kathy was super sweet the moment we walked in. I'd definitely stay here again :
Friendly check-in clerk who allowed us to park our motorcycles under the entranceway roof overnight (nice not to have to dig out bike covers). Okay breakfast, as usual. We had a persistent, healthy cricket in our room who started singing at about 4:30 am. We reported it to the front desk at check out. Not a big deal unless you really, really wanted/needed to get a solid night of sleep--we were on the last day of vacation travel.
This Quality Inn epitomizes Southern Hospitality. When our car broke down in the middle of nowhere on a Sunday during a family vacation, we thought we were stuck. After restarting the car several times, we were able to limp our way for a couple of miles to the nearest open establishment, which happened to be the Quality Inn in Troutville. The people there were so gracious and welcoming, and even though we weren't even their customers, they worked tirelessly to help us find the best possible solution to our problem, recommending mechanics and calling car services for estimates. They even brought out a plate of cookies and lemonade for us! The staff here couldn't have been nicer, and they transformed a terrible day into a great one with their unparalleled kindness and consideration. Can't thank them enough!!!!
