Okatie Ale House - Town of Bluffton

This is a mediocre restaurant. The food wasn't anything special and the service was very slow. The redeeming thing for the place is that it has an ice cream shop next to it (Jacks Frost which is great).

This used to be our go to place but it has really gone downhill. First of all, do not go on a Friday night and expect to get a table outside. The Sun City crowd monopolizes the tables and drink and dance all evening to songs like “I Like Big Butts.” We watched from inside and got quite a show. Went with another couple last week and sat outside and was basically ignored by our server who kept disappearing. Three tables were seated after us and were served their food way before our food came. The table next to us who came after us was waiting to pay their bill and we still hadn’t received our food. When it did come, the food was not great. The lasagna was absolutely the worst! The amount of fries were skimpy. We were told they were experiencing a computer glitch. Gee that happened to us there once before! Then our neighbors said they went the other night and they had the same experience and they used the same excuse. We used to love going here but I’m honestly not sure I ever want to go back and I certainly won’t recommend eating here. What happened????

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk clerk at our hotel. It was casual, priced right, and the service was amazing. Chloe was fabulous! We loved the food and would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Best grouper basket around! Served hot with French fries that are wonderfully crunchy on the outside yet creamy on the inside. Large portions of fish!

Everytime I order something to go from here , they tend to get it wrong. This place really has gone down hill
