Osteria Rialto - Toronto

Great meal and a nice ambience. Like a great bistro in Europe.

The focaccia at this restaurant is fantastic, as are the grilled artichokes. I personally wasn't a fan of the grilled radicchio, but my wife loved it. The cod cappelletti was okay, but I expected more flavor. The pork chop was tender and delicious. They offer a nice variety of wines by the glass. The desserts, Torta and blueberry tart, were excellent. The service was exceptional. However, I found the prices to be a bit high for what was offered.

The staff was fantastic, and the food was sublime. we started with fresh focaccia and Spanish olive oil, delicious burrata and perfect prosciutto, then the black cod with fogo island shrimp in a decadent green sauce, fried potato wedges with Parmesan and garlic mayonnaise, and were finished off by the olive oil cake with almond gelato. will definitely be back

As seniors with lower appetite we share meals. We ordered the Black Cod as our main course. It was amazing we 'd like the recipe please! We had the hazelnut/chocolate dessert that was also wonderful. We had gone to a concert at the attached Princess Theatre and the restaurant staff quickly responded no problem when I wasn 't sure when the show ended. We will be back for sure.

Food was pretty bland for the expensive price. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The portions were pretty small, even though they say they are for sharing. It took a long time to get our food and it definitely wasn't worth the wait or the price.
