Somo View Resort - Tomahawk

My family and I loved our time at Some View. Lou and his family were excellent hosts. They are very accommodating and make you feel right at home. The lake is beautiful and is not overly crowded. Our family is like most and needed some down time away from hustle and bustle, and this place allowed us to recharge and make unforgettable memories. We will be back.

You will see how the owners, Lou and Colleen, pour their passion and love from Tomahawk and Somo Lake in their resort on the water. it can't be a holiday destination in the state, but if you want recreation, nature, tranquility and small town Vibe, they meet a home run. Trust me when I and my fiancée say it was one of the best 3 days we had in a long time. the only way to believe this is to experience them first hand. u will not only rent a place, but the experience and small bonuses, the other places will be extra for. An amazing place to escape...to a beautiful, quiet lake, full of fun activities! Kayaking (which they provided the kayaks) for fishing, swinging to a rope on an island in the middle of the lake....what more can you ask? There was also a fire pit to use a barbecue outside for us, picnic tables outdoors, a rowing boat available and we brought our own boat that we could dock there. Beautiful gradual water entry through the docks so that the children could splash around in the water. Very clean, a modern view into the cabin with a large window overlooking the lake and many places for my husband and I and 4 children to sleep. My family has made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime! Lou, the owner was very accommodating and was quick to answer questions I had. Would like to come back!

My wife and I were here last autumn with our two Labradors. The owner is very nice, the cabins are updated, clean and very comfortable. The view of the Somosee is beautiful, and the restaurant next door has quite good food.

We were looking for a North-Holz escape and Somo View surpassed our expectations. Very clean, very private, very quiet environment. Somo Blick gave us access to grills, kayaks, paddle boat and a beautiful area for meeting with the family for an evening fire pit. Many sleeping opportunities and a well-equipped kitchen for a nice short holiday. There is nothing missing from the owners to make their guests happy. We're coming back!
