Beachfront Bistro - Tofino

We went to this restaurant for many years. Service was great and food is always incredible. This time we spent 3 of our evenings in this restaurant. Every time the food was good, we had another server. The first server we had was Ron. I wish we asked him every time. He was amazing. Pleasant with a smile, nice conversation and made sure our orders were right, we were comfortable and he went the extra mile. The other two nights food was good, but service wasn't so much. Thank you, Ron, for making our experience amazing. The other nights that the service was terrible were my husband's birthday and our anniversary. I was very disappointed by such a beautiful place. Thanks again, Ron!

Beautiful location and views. Had dinner and the food was fine, but the staff seemed overloaded, i.e. not enough staff. The waiting time seemed extror usually long. In fact, we ordered ice for the desert and after at least 20 minutes our server showed up with him to tell us she had to prepare it herself. Really bad about our Haggard server, but understood why previous commentators talked about the bad dinner service. During breakfast the service was timely and the food was good.

The atmosphere is cozy and the look breathtaking! I had the rindburger who wasn't excellent, but pretty decent. but above all the service was great! Alexandra who served us was very nice and helpful. she has checked us several times, and the coffee has always been thrown up immediately! after all a great experience, but above all because of the experience, with other words the atmosphere and the service! I'm coming back!

Good service, nice location, beautiful outdoor seating area. I had the seafood linguini and it was delicious and very filled. Packed with all kinds of ocean quality, not stingy at all with seafood. Very recommended. My partner had the fish and chips that were good but not writing home. Nice light. Friends were all right.

We stayed a couple of days in the surrounding hotel so we tried the supposed best restaurants in Tofino as well as the Beachfront Bistro. The result: The Beachfront Bistro is poles apart from the leading restaurants like Kuma or Shelter. I mean, the food itself is alright and worth 4 points. But the overall package including the drab hotel atmosphere and the sometimes overchallenged service leads to a 3 points devaluation.
