Northern Dhaba Hot House - Terrace

The food is consistently delicious and the service is always friendly at this restaurant. I highly recommend the butter chicken, crab cakes, lamb dishes, and fresh naan. I love this place!

I was excited to try some local Indian food, having come all the way from Surrey and craving some curry badly! However, I was surprised by the high prices - a single portion here costs the same as two full orders in the south (33.50 for a small bowl and 2 naans). I decided to give it a try anyway. The price of 4 dollars for a naan seemed outrageous. The butter chicken did not taste like traditional butter chicken; it had a super creamy pepper flavor with very little masala. I felt like I was ripped off and didn't get the taste I was hoping for. I doubt there would be any difference even if I had ordered it medium or spicy.

This Indian fusion restaurant is lovely. The patio would be perfect on a sunny day!

I used to love coming here. This will be my last visit.We were the only table in there and our food took almost an hour. My partner enjoyed his wrap but what is with the butter chicken? It was basically a creamy coconut soup. Incredibly disappointing.$5 for butter naan bread and it was completely dry. No residue on my fingers. How can it be butter naan if there is nothing on it? And the pieces were TINY! Complete rip off. We asked the server (who never was anywhere to be seen) and she confirmed it was buttered naan. Took 7-8 minutes to find someone to pay. Terrible food. Terrible service.
