Contribuiți la feedbackA daytime cafe buzzing with locals. A corner full of books. Fernando was very helpful and liked to practice his English. Breakfast was basic, just croissants, doughnuts or a toasted sandwich but really nice coffee
Touring on my bicycle I arrived in town approaching three, hungry, usual bad timing. Any port in a storm, I stuck my head in the door of Cafe de Paris and barman said no problem. Relieved but not expecting much in this average looking bar by a town centre junction, I asked what there was. In great English he suggested the pasta, with the line, “My mama makes a great ragu!” Fair enough. And she did! The food hit the spot. And he kindly included gratis a small slice of home made cake with my coffee. His sister who was fluent in English, came out from the kitchen hearing I was from Ireland, and we had a great chat. I think the two of them had spent time in Australia. A lovely experience, I recommend a visit if you’re in Termoli.
