Rainforest Cafe Tempe Arizona Mills

My partner chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner, but I had to change our reservations twice. When we arrived, I was kept waiting by a staff member at check-in. Our party noticed empty seats and wondered where we would be seated. Unfortunately, we were all placed in a corner that we did not like. It took a long time to get water to our table, and the food took even longer. The portion sizes did not seem to justify the prices, and the spinach dip appetizer was not blended or melted correctly. Overall, it was not the worst experience, but we were hoping for better.

The food was good but a little pricy for what it is. What shined here was the ambiance- we came for our daughter’s first birthday and it didn’t disappoint. We were seated near the elephants and she couldn’t take her eyes off of them! It was a lot of fun and we look forward to taking her back! :

The wait staff was difficult to locate and the wait time for food was overly long despite the restaurant not being very busy.

Horrible hostess. Mediocre food. Sat us at table for 4 when 5 of us. Horrible experience and rude staff.

I haven’t been to a Rainforest cafe in almost 10 years. I finally decided to go and I’m glad I did. My partner had never gone and he enjoyed it as well. The environment was fun, the food was delicious, and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I recommend this place for a fun date night!
