Origem Fresh Coffee - Tel Aviv

This charming small café is located in the old northern part of the city. The staff and owner are from Brazil and are incredibly friendly. They offer a variety of delicious coffee blends and the atmosphere in the café is fantastic - so relaxing with perfect music and tasteful decoration. In addition to coffee, they also serve sandwiches and sweets. I really enjoyed my experience here and highly recommend it!

There was no wifi available, which was disappointing as I had wanted to connect my phone. I ordered an oat milk latte and a dates cube. The coffee was just average on this occasion. I particularly enjoyed the dates cube (Energy bowl). We sat outside and found the space to be very roomy. The Argentine waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

This restaurant is very charming and serves good coffee. I came here to enjoy a coffee and do some work on my laptop, however, as soon as I opened it, the waitress informed me that I only had an hour to use it. To my surprise, she returned before the hour was up and told me my time was already finished. The restaurant was not even full at the time. I paid my bill and left, leaving my table empty as no one else was waiting for it. This was a very uncomfortable experience and I have no plans to return.

This place is really cute and small. It’s perfect for someone who either wants to take a coffee and go or someone who would like to sit down with a book or do work on a laptop. Is very relaxing and can be quiet. There is also outdoor seating and they have heaters on a chillier day that you can ask to use if needed. It’s a lovely clean coffee shop with a few food options that are nice like sandwiches with cheese, tomato, and lettuce on rye bread. I don’t even like rye bread but it did compliment a sandwich I shared with a friend so I’m impressed! The pastries they had all looked great, they had cookies and different types of cakes. The staff was very kind but informed me that they couldn’t make a cold brew because the machine was not working. I wasn’t able to get the coffee I had hoped for because I don’t like hot coffee but I’m hopeful for the next time I come that it will be repaired. This place is a blend of Brasília and Israel apparently which I thought was cool! I love the idea of fusion in the same place. I would come back here but just remember you might not be able to get your cold coffee if that’s what you were looking for. I’m sure it will be fixed by the time you read this though!

Extremely unfriendly to people with a laptop. Or people without half an hour to wait on the weekend to find a place to sit. Some wait staff have a severe attitude problem (some are very nice). No concern for corona guidelines AT ALL.
