Empress Garden - Tecumseh

I used to dine at this restaurant years ago, but after the owners sold it, they moved on. I decided to take a chance and order takeout. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food. The portions were generous and the prices were good. I am very happy that I gave it another try and will definitely be returning.

On weekends, this restaurant is always busy. The food is good, but it appears that the owners prioritize their take-out business over their dine-in customers. Service is very slow and the reception is not very welcoming.

I am giving this restaurant 4 stars because the egg rolls are excellent. I ordered the Szechuan chicken lunch combo and it was delicious.

We picked Empress Gardens for lunch at the last minute because of its location to where we were and where we were going.
