Cafe Caudal - Taytay

I've been to Cafe Caudal before but want to share this more recent experience: My daughter Chelsea turned 21 on Feb 7. We were at an overnight retreat for Sunday School teachers at the Methodist Prayer Garden in Taytay then. At the end of the meeting I requested our pastor to pray for her and for the group to sing 'Happy birthday'. Someone said, "But there's no cake!" One of the SS teachers, Isaac, jumped up , headed for his car followed by three of the younger teachers. They went looking for a cake at 10:30 at night, hoping to find one somehow. Thankfully, Cafe Caudal was still open. They bought a Tres Leches cake and decorated it themselves (because none of the staff left had cake decorating skills). Meanwhile our pastor prayed for Chelsea. In a while the guys came back to the retreat venue telling us, "Sorry, all the shops were already closed." We were a bit disappointed and someone said they could have at least bought ice cream at 7 -11 but we sang happy birthday anyway. That's when these guys played a video of Isaac decorating the cake and halfway through the song, one of them carried in the cake and Chelsea got to blow out the candles.Thank you Cafe Caudal for keeping late hours! Everyone loved your Tres Leches Cake.

My girlfriend and I came here, since this is her go to place. The smoothies are amazing here, but try to avoid the food since it's not really good. The food is really cheap though.

Cafe Caudal is good for late night bonding. They offer good variety of hot and cold beverages. I ordered the Salted Caramel latte and it was so worth the wait.Their nachos is so good too. Not too fan of their cupcakes but looks very exciting to try. Only if they can improve how to handle the queue of orders, it would be better. I was the first to order among our group and I was the last to be served.

My friend and I visited this restaurant while she was in town. The smoothies here are fantastic, but it's best to avoid the food as it's not very good. The prices for the food are really inexpensive.

At the end of the session, I asked our pastor to pray for Chelsea and the group sang happy birthday. When someone mentioned there was no cake, one of the teachers, Isaak, and three others rushed to his car to find one. It was already late, but Cafe Caudal was still open. They bought a tres leches cake and decorated it themselves since none of them were skilled in cake decorating. Our pastor prayed for Chelsea before they returned with the cake. Despite all the shops being closed, we still sang happy birthday and enjoyed the cake. It was a funny moment when one of the young teachers accidentally wore the cake while Chelsea blew out the candles. Thank you, Cafe Caudal, for providing us with a delicious tres leches cake, everyone loved it!
