Koto Japanese Steak House - Tampa

Food and show was good. The initial service was extremely slow and we were waiting a while for the chef to arrive. My salad was drowning in the salad dressing. They kept blasting the happy birthday song with was annoying to other patrons.

A little bit more mellow and cozy. The service was very good they stayed on top of our drinks all night long. My only small complaint was that I ordered shrimp and steak with extra steak and my wife ordered extra steak and I feel like she got extra steak but I did not get extra steak. The early bird specials are nice as well. Also I don't like mandatory tips unless it's 6 people or more.

Went on a Monday at 5 pm. We had our own hibachi table and a great experience and meal.

I had the steak and chicken hibachi dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and came out promptly. I also had the lychee martini and it was made very well! I’d definitely come back here when visiting Tampa.

First time doing hibachi and I was not disappointed. Service was great, food, was great. Ordered more than I should have and someone was wise enough to know I would not consume all that I ordered and didn't make it. And I'm not even mad at it, did me a favor the way I look at it. I still left with food to take home. Will definitely return.
