From Burger Monger I decided to order Jalapeño Snapburger Lettuce Wrap) and sweet potatoes. The order was delivered in 30-35 minutes The food was hot and good. I really loved the sweet potato fries. It was delicious and perfect. For Jalapeño Snap Burger, I didn't know it was beef patty when I'm not a fan of beef. It was my fault. I will definitely try Burger Monger with chicken patty and I'm sure I would love it.
Back to Tampa Bay Burger Week. This year they had the bacon infused Burger. I didn't like it as much as my other previous selections. Very heavy on the mustard, thick and strangely seasoned pimples and most bites had no trace of bacon. Flavors just didn't hunt. Image added. Some of the best burgers. My visit is the Chili Cheeseburger, reminds me of my favorite Burger spot. Try a limited time Special Burger today called Campfire Burger for Tampa Burger Week. Love the way beef stands patty taste and shines. It was delicious.
I was thrilled to see Burger Monger on the list for Creative Loafing's Burger Week 2022. Guy and were there several times and always enjoyed the food. This time was a great disappointment. Things have changed! At first I was surprised to see only another couple there. Finally this IS Burger Week, November 3-9, 2022. (If you are not familiar with Burger Week, the Creative Loafing website will tell you about it. Look at the first picture of the burger I wrote. The face says the way I never could. You have the best pommes. Let me rest, you HAD the best pommes. They used to be cut, Pommes. Not this time. For some reason, they changed to frozen pommes. At the first bite, I knew they were made from frozen pommes. When I asked about it, the staff made a small sidestep dance, but they admitted that the restaurant had changed suppliers. I guess who COVID! (The menu still contains natural cut French pommes. I suspect that in today's market, machine processed, cut and frozen could be considered natural and if they had to print all the menus, they would lose all the savings they had with generics. I had the Blaz'n Bacon Blue. $10.49 at this booking. I only ate about 1/4 of them. See first and second images. The guy had the mushroom Swiss burger. $9.99. He ate most of his. But none of us could believe it was from the restaurant we liked so much. Single order of Pommes, $3,99. We both ordered water $ free. The water came from the Sodaspender and tasted like the spiced water everyone drinks and pretends to be what you do when you're cool. I'm not cool. I didn't like it and Guy didn't. I could say more. When I wanted to wash my hands in the ladies' room, one of the male employees was in there, but I won't, because it wasn't politically correct to make any judgment. So let my pictures talk.
I went for Monday $5 Burger. Great deal. The rabbit is good, but a pulpit would take this into the best counter-service broker in America. The Toppings and Monger?special? sauces are very fresh and contrast the fleshy kindness. The grilled onions are prepared for a fantastic standard and have a wonderful taste that underlines the fleshy Burgerpatty. They get their money back to the Pommes and the Shakes. The sweet potato wafers have excellent crispy texture and a chewing center. The strawberry is great, my only thing is that they have a paper straw. Bring a big appetite, you want to try everything.
Spent an additional $6.17 to customize our burgers without getting any paid for add-ons. I know they sold recently, wish it wasn?t so evident. Spend the extra couple dollars on Mondays and go to Burger 21 up the road.
