Contribuiți la feedbackI don’t write too many reviews for businesses, it seems, but I really wanted to take the time to leave a positive and happy endorsement for this place. It’s exactly what I was hoping for, and everyone working inside the Saturday my friends and I visited was cheerful and attentive. While it’s almost always been a challenge for me to find authentic, non-westernized Asian food in southern towns, this place had plenty to offer and certainly hit the spot. I only wish we weren’t only visiting, so I could come back and eat here again. So long as this is the kind of food you’re looking for, you can’t really go wrong with this place. Simple, quaint, and tasty.
Food looks prettier in the containers than it tastes, save for the honey chicken wings. Those wings are so tiny, dry and bland and the sauce just glazes it. Somehow makes it look naked. Long coarse hair was found in the vegetable Singapore rice noodles, so maybe think twice before spending 15 on it. The restaurant workers there need to put their hair up and whomever's hair it was needs a deep conditioning treatment. I don't think it would have been as so off-putting as it was if the hair strand wasn't so thick coarse. Also, not a spicy dish whatsoever. So whomever is thinking about ordering it heat is a 0 reminds me of a light curry /or cumin taste.Iced teas were good (recommend), sesame chicken combo platter was good (lo mein a little dry somehow); the sesame chicken doesn't taste like what you get from other American-Asian restaurants. Can't comment on atmosphere, always ordered delivery. Maybe it's better dining in ?Honestly this restaurant used to be good but the past few occasions over the last couple of years has been terrible quality ranging from missing or incorrect items, and poor quality for the money. Service then, rough. There are so many better Asian spots in Tally, I'd suggest many others over this one like Tan's or Long Garden for the typical American-Asian style.
I was really hoping to find some good Chinese food and based on a variety of reviews I chose this place. I normally don't leave negative reviews but there is nothing positive about this place. The food didn't have any flavor, save your money and find another place.
Basic down to earth Chinese fare. Food was great, healthy portions. No frills at all.Food: 5/5
It’s honestly the best Chinese food I’ve had in Tallahassee. Especially the Mongolian beef, oml. You need to try it. I clear the plate every time I go.Food: 5/5
