River Inn - Takaka

After watching a game of rugby on Saturday , we decided to stop in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner, and I’m so glad we did . The food was so delicious and staff were amazing. I had the fish burger and OMG it was the best burger I have had in a long time . So if you are ever over in Golden Bay stop off here and grab a drink and try some delicious food . Lovely family owned hotel Camped on their campground. Spacious grassy field, no marked spaces, just camp where you want For 16$ pp you're allowed to use all facilities including kitchen shower Hotel itself is a bit older the showers aren't too modern Staff absolutely lovely Nice bar attached to the Hotel Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic

Great wee spot very relaxed atmosphere and really friendly people. Sooo very comfortable beds too. Has everything you need in a hostel/backpackers. Definitely will stay again Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value

Stayed one night here, lovely old building, very lovely staff, comfy place to sleep, cheap rooms, hearty pub meals, cold beers, free pool table!! Thank you!
