Indo Asian Street Eatery - Tacoma

I went here a few months ago with a big dinner party, and it was one of the most amazing meals I had with my 10 friends. I took my family there this evening, and it was stark opposite. Our server was very standoffish, and did not seem happy to be there nor to serve us. We ordered Teriyaki Chicken and Pad See Ew and Fried Calamari. Our appatizer was the last thing to arrive, and it arrived without it's sauce. The calamari was dry and rubbery and overcooked. The sauce showed up after we had already determined it was inedible. The chicken in both dishes was dry and clearly had been cooked long before we arrived. The jasmine rice that came with the Teriyaki chicken was the same. dry and crunchy. Absolutely no care was given to our food to ensure it was of edible resturant quality. It was all cooked long before we arrived, thrown together and reheated. It was massive dissapointment. You've lost a customer and someone who previously thought very highly of your resturant.

The hostess/waitress yesterday was so kind and professional. I will definitely eat here again. I've been to so many restaurants lately where the hostesses were just snobby or rude, and because of that, I have no desire to go back to those places. The food here is great- very flavorful and a good price. I ordered the Singapore spicy shrimp curry and it came with so many shrimp!!! Usually when you order a shrimp dish at a restaurant, you get maybe 6 shrimp. This dish had over a dozen. And the Banh Mi was probably the best I've ever tasted. I was very impressed by this place. Highly recommend.
