Contribuiți la feedbackRolld is a well-known chain Vietnamese takeout spot that is an ideal choice for lunch in the city center. They have a wide variety of Vietnamese rice paper rolls, including traditional options and more upscale choices like garlic prawn and barramundi with avocado. My favorite dishes are the noodle salad with pork spring rolls and the chicken pho. While there may be cheaper Vietnamese options nearby, Rolld stands out as one of the more authentic choices.
I really enjoy this restaurant. I usually don't like chain Asian restaurants, but this one is exceptional. I ordered the rice paper roll combo with iced tea, and it was a perfect, fresh, tasty and affordable lunch. I have also tried the pho before and it's one of the best I've had.
My friend Sebastian and I had noticed Roll’d as a potential lunch spot. I was aware that it was a franchise and, honestly, it seemed very fast food-like. Our expectations were not too high, but we decided to give it a try anyway. I ordered the Vietnamese salad with prawn pork while Sebastian chose chicken. The salads came with prawn crackers in a separate bag. There was an option to add extra meat for $2, but the regular portion was sufficient for us. Additionally, we were offered some extra fresh chili at no extra cost. The salads were fantastic - fresh, flavorful, and quite filling.
I love the freshness of the food here. Very reliable and tasty. I had the pork spring rolls on The B (vermicelli rice noodle salad) with fried sweet potatoes fries and a iced peach tea. Good service too.
Decent Vietnamese. Welcome addition to this end of town where there is no nearby Vietnamese. It is not what you would call authentic Vietnamese, slightly Westernised, but fresh and good quality. The 'soldiers ' or rice paper rolls are too heavy on noodles and slightly bland, so you 're better off paying a little more and going the low carb. Pho broth was good and flavoursome, though they are not generous with the meat. Lemongrass beef bowl was tasty and I 'd have this again. Was disappointed that they didn 't have the Banh Xeo on the menu, which they offer at some outlets. Taking people 's names makes the order slow down (and not quite sure what the point is when you get a buzzer and the order also has a number) but perhaps they think its adds a personal touch. So not mindblowing but good for a little variety versus other offerings in the nearby surrounds.
