I love a good sandwich so decided to check out North's for their legendary creations. It's hidden below street level in a tiny arcade on Bridge St, with a perpetual line at lunch. The Cajun chicken with blue cheese dressing was an unusual flavour combination that actually worked! The sourness of the pickles cut the richness of the meat and sauce; the bread was also a treat with a fluffy crumb. Size-wise, it was slightly smaller than the mammoths at Big Bite, but it's still a big sandwich. Price hovers at the $9 mark on average. The line moves quite quickly and I'd definitely return.
Favourite sandwich place!! Fresh homemade fillings, fluffiness bread and giant portions. Texas on dark rye will always have my heart. Love you 4ever Norths.
I ordered the wrap and brought it back to work to eat. I probably shouldn't have asked for spice, as it turned out to be seriously hot to the point where I had to drink milk while working. The flavors were present, but nothing extraordinary about the wrap. It got the job done, although I grew somewhat tired of it towards the end and didn't finish about 1/5 of it. Overall, it is still a decent place to consider trying out for other flavors in the future.
Before I started writing food blogs, I used to post photos of food on Facebook in a not very exciting way. I wasn't a great cook, so I mostly just made sandwiches. I thought people would be interested in seeing my daily sandwich creations, which I cleverly called ‘manwiches.’ Eventually, I realized how silly it was and stopped. But recently, I visited North Complete Sandwiches in the city and now I'm back to sharing photos of sandwiches again.
