Barkers Restaurant at the Parkroyal Darling Harbour

Barkers is the in-house buffet restaurant at the Parkroyal Darling Harbour Hotel in Sydney (which I have separately reviewed on TripAdvisor). We liked the breakfast choices, the atmosphere and the service very much. It was also convenient being able to get a good breakfast in the hotel before embarking on a day of activities in and around Sydney.

Really enjoyed buffet breakfast here recently. Unobtrusive service, did not feel rushed to vacate table. Something for everyone - especially liked the do-your-own juicers, Chinese dim sims and good quality Danishes (real pastry, not just the usual puff). Chef makes omelettes to order. Standard selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, and bain marie hot food but good sourdough as well as square bread, nice in-house ?hot smoked salmon and rainbow trout and some unusual things like braised lambs' fry with onion gravy. Machine coffee rather than barista but still OK.

Located in the park Royal. Excellent service, reasonably priced and absolutely fantastic food. Give this a try if near darling harbour

I tried the pear salad with chicken it was very nice and perfect for lunch. Service was attentive and the meal came in about 5 minutes

Barkers Restaurant is a great way to start your morning while visiting the Park Royal at Darling Harbour. They have a great selection on offer which caters for both International / Local Guests. My family found that there was ample selection that fulfilled everyone's needs.
