Maria’s Little Italy - Sycamore

Had a GREAT experience here. I enjoyed playing the atmosphere, decor and soft music. After sitting, they brought bread, water and a small dish with cutlery to my table. Then let me know the specials. Service was amazing and they made sure my water was full. I ordered one of the specials, as written on my entrance Chicken Satim Bocca, it came with a side salad. The salad was good. The meal was absolutely amazing. From chicken, topings and sauce to noodles. It was so delicious. Unfortunately, it was a lot more food for me than I could eat in one serving. Then I ordered a canoli for dessert, that was also delicious! If I make it back to Dekalb, I will definitely be here again!

Amazing pasta. The Rigatoni with vodka sauce is the best I ever had. I can build my pasta, but I like, noodle, sauce and topping. It is a cozy atmosphere and beautifully decorated. Hidden Gem. My wife got the gluten-free penne with chicken piccata. She loves it.

I ordered Takeout. The first time Maria's Little Italy tries. Food as expected and prepared on time. Il Solo Mio Pizza and spaghetti with meatballs order. I look forward to eating in-house next time and trying something new.

Excellent! Maria was there and treated everyone like friends and family. I felt like my Italian Nonna was sure I had enough to eat and drink. Her Marinara was divine! I had the aubergines Parmesan with Ravioli and loved her. My husband had a special with Italian sausage and broccoli in a wine sauce and he really enjoyed it. This is a gem worth your time!

This little restaurant is a gem. The house dressing is delicious. The bread was fresh and they have Real butter on the table. They don’t take your order at your table. You go up to the counter to order your food and they bring it to you. The service is good. They check back with you quite regularly. I’m sorry I didn’t get a photo of my fettuccine Alfredo before I started eating it. I got it with Italian sausage. I cannot say enough about how delicious the sausage was. It was crispy on the outside… tender and tasty on the inside. I plan to return!
