Big no . You pay the fortune for tasteless fish dishes. The food looks quite good, but is unflavored, fatty, and the catfish was underdone. I recommend this place only for beer, you can drink on the pretty pond, anyway not for good dinner.

We had visited Kishorn 5 years previously so knew how good it was. Arrived hungry with grumpy kids. Who don 't eat seafood... There were no free tables and it was chilly. We had a 10 minute wait and I was at that next free table as soon as the previous customers had moved a foot away ... a chilled glass of white soon helped me over my 'slight pushiness '. The smoked Haddock Chowder was beautiful with amazingly rich dark soda bread. We had decided that this was probably the best restaurant we would/could eat at in our stay in Wester Ross and I I decided to have a starter of the smoked salmon, and was really pleased as it was beautiful a strong smoke but still letting the taste of the salmon through, I 'd really recommend it. After a sample daughter decided she did like smoked salmon after all and I was fighting her off. We had the prawns for the main course which were beautiful, although if I had to I would rate the starters as even better, without diminishing on how much I enjoyed the prawns. Kids had their beef burgers which were excellent quality and they enjoyed. Grumpy teen couldn 't believe 'no chips! ' but in such a small open plan kitchen restaurant they have made the right decision so that their is no smell of frying. I would happily eat every dish on the entire menu at Kishorn it deserves it 's high reputation and rave reviews as they are clearly proud of what they do there and serve fantastic food. Lovely service and I will return on my next visit up to the Western Highlands maybe slightly earlier in the afternoon and with the aim of eating through that menu. We had visited Attadale Gardens before hand at Loch Carron and a trip there, plus lunch at Kishorn is a pretty perfect day for me.

What a wonderful surprise, got the hint from some locals from village 10~150k away, and I was really satisfied with taste and presentation of the food, as a portuguese citizen I can be quite demanding regarding the sea food and I was really satisfied and will definitely return As an interesting bonus, they had some local products for sale avaliable very close to the entrance.... Ohhh that bread is wonderful, should have bring two or three loafs

A hidden place with an absolutely fabulous fish soup and friendly and helpful owner. I will definitely go back there and try other delicacies!
