The White Horse - Surry Hills

I'm here on Saturday night for dinner and drink with friends. I had the chicken carving with spen and gravy. the chicken was well cooked and juicy. chips were delicious and well salted. I also enjoyed the engraving, but could have had more 2 extra). I would visit this place again, as there was a great selection of food on the menu and boutique brewery beer in the offer.

We went here after we saw a picture on instagram that they literally had a day after the picture, but were super disappointed that they had none when we were there. They did not remember to have the beer although the picture was shown.Anyway, the service was good and we were happy enough to try something else so 4 out of 5 is good enough to give this young. would go and visit again in any case. In a beautiful situation and the prices were fairly fair.

Three friends had drinks and dinner at a busy and historic art pub before attending the Wallabies vs. England Rugby test. The pub offers a wide variety of drinks and delicious burgers. We had a great time enjoying our meal and drinks before heading to the Sydney Cricket Ground. The staff was friendly and efficient, the location was perfect, and the toilets were clean. Overall, a fantastic place located in Sydney.

There was a wide selection of beers available, and they were served ice-cold, which was a highlight. However, the food was not as impressive. The chicken and beef burgers we ordered were small, seemed overpriced, and had a mediocre taste at best.

One night on holiday I didn't want to go far, so we found this pub just 5 minutes away. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I ordered a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken and my husband had the Classic Cheeseburger with fries. The food arrived quickly and in generous portions. The salad was crispy and fresh, with tasty bacon, though it could have used a bit more chicken. The burger was delicious and the fries were crispy. We asked for mayo and, although they didn't have any, a server brought us a garlic mayo which was a nice touch. The drinks selection was good and the atmosphere was cozy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a tasty meal in the Surrey area.
