Ravintola Lyhty - Suomi

Great place. This lovely place used to be my Mum's school when she was young. It was so nice to see that the building has been kept in such an original state. We had coffee and a snack, unfortunately we don't speak Finnish but the staff were very helpful and were able to speak English to us which made our visit so easy. We very much look forward to spending time at this lovely place again in the near future.

Restaurant Lyhty in Viittasaari was a big disappointment. The lunch offered was overpriced for the portion size, which was quite small. Overall, the dining experience did not meet expectations.

Plenty of parking spaces in front of the door, you just have to drive from the roundabout right away, you can't drive over the bridge by car. The game balls really tasted like game meat, as well as the mashed potatoes and sauce, probably homemade. The home-cooked meat is also really filling. So the food is excellent. The mijöö also feels dignified and stylish, although Marko Paananen's interior design elements are slightly different (such as the giant lanterns on the ceiling). Are those Marko's contributions? It was very empty on Sunday. Yes, it is worth coming here to eat. Pulls 5-0 past any pizzeria and the price is almost the same. Even the dog got inside and got water. This is also a big plus.

A really nice experience, wonderful facilities for any party! The mushroom risotto was good, as were the pork cutlet and potatoes. It doesn't bother me that the staff portions the food on the plate, it won't be too much. And, you can get more if you want! The tables are well separated from each other. The exterior of the house needs a little improvement, otherwise it is in a wonderful location by the water.

The service has been friendly and smooth. Lunch was really good, like home food. The portions are large and filling. Gluten-free bread was brought to the table, a potato cake that was unbelievably good! There was a lot of filling in the showcase. The toilets have been clean on recent visits. Specialty coffees are available. Quiet and peaceful restaurant. No traffic jam. I recommend to visit.
