The Pita Hut - Sudbury

In a rush for lunch.......Not usually a big frequenter of pita places.......but saw this new counter and saw schwarma as a menu item.....love the schwarmas in Ottawa......tried to order a beef one but he said he had a big catering and was out.......so only other was chicken......they use a pita rather than a flat bread for the schwarma.....in any case, ordered it....not sure if I ordered a pita how they would serve it....but for a schwarma more or less served like a soft taco.....had all the fixings, taziki and garlic sauce....flavour was ok......but when you get to the end, lot of the sauce and nothing holding it in because it is a folded pita makes for a messy finale......service is quick enough considering the fella was alone.....price in the ballpark......would probably go again .obviously a start up......seating is in the food court.

My family and I dined at this restaurant last week for the first time. It was not very crowded, but we received prompt and polite service.

I'm not sure what happened, but when I came back to eat here after 6 months, the food was really average.
