Contribuiți la feedbackWe dined at this place because of an overwhelming amount of recommendations. After eating and experiencing the AC HOTEL I will be one of those many people suggesting a meal there as well. The dining room was small, clean, and cozy. The bar seats about 8. It seems a popular place for take-out as well. Many traditional Swabian foods filled the small menu, though it was advocated to skip the entrees and just order dessert. It was nice to see a fish dish because many restaurants don't seem to have fish. You may find "sea fruits", but not fish on menus. We had an education about food. Maultaschen is a pocket of leftover ground pork, spinach, onions, and breading. It is frowned upon to call it ravioli. The word "ravioli" is used on all menus and in all guide books. Maultaschen is its own creation, not a ravioli. The Swabian philosophy is to save, save, save your money. This ethic is reflective in the foods as well. We had sliced Maultaschen roasted in eggs. It was very filling and a meal severed weekly in a German home. Swabian people waste nothing. They are amazing at the egg + flour + water combinations of making noodles and dumplings. Our side salads were huge and had the lightest house dressing. At the end of the meal a Plum Brandy was served with the check. It was for sipping. The staff was very friendly. There were cloth on the tables. I didn't use the bathrooms at this restaurant at a bottom of a hotel.
A wonderful little place with outstanding food. They took great care to ensure we were well treated and the food was perfect. Highly recommend anyone going to the Stuttgart area heading over for dinner.
I took my parents and family here on their last night in Germany to experience a high quality German meal. A.C. went well above and beyond our expectations. One of the best meals we have eaten in Germany. The owner may seem a bit awkward at first but is truly a gentlemen who wishes nothing but the best evening he can deliver. He also is very proud of his after dinner plum schnapps which is worth the cost of admission. Definitely going to go again and again
We spent 3 nights here, during a very hot spell in Germany, but it was still comfortable. The hotel room was comfortable, cleaned every day, and we kept the window open at night to take advantage of any breeze we could get. The service was superb from the innkeeper, to the chef, to the servers in the restaurant. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner outside on the terrace, we had another nice evening out there enjoying a beer, and overall, the hotel was really a wonderful place to stay. We loved our stay here. It's a small boutique hotel that specializes in first rate service.
This place was very nice. It was small but not too small. The food was very good. Entrance is on the right. The owner was chatty and kind. The staff was attentive and quick. I would return. Food is from 9 - 15 euros.
